The 2007 US Track National Championships was an extremely successfully event for Cody Racing Team, Inc.. Our athletes brought home six national titles with a total of fourteen podium appearances! Michael Blatchford won three national titles proving he is the best Male Sprint athlete in the United States, Colby Pearce won two national titles and Cari Higgins one.
Next stop for Michael, Colby and Des is the Revolution in England the end of this month then these three plus Kenny will be going to Sydney (2007/2008 UCI World Cup #1) the end of November and then on to Beijing (2007/2008 UCI World Cup #2) the first part of December. These three events will wrap up the 2007 season for Cody Racing.

After a fantastic year Michael was honored this week by being named athlete of the month by the USOC, another big mental boost for Michael and the team heading into the World Cup Season. On the Domestic side of track racing the National Track Racing Calendar wrapped up at the US Track National Championships and our own Colby Pearce has been crowned the best Men's US Endurance Rider for the 2007 season. In that same category Kenny Williams was third, Ryan Luttrell fourth and Kevin Suhr seventh out of 240 competitors that took points in the NTRC series.
Cari Higgins took second place in the NTRC Women's Sprints out of 109 competitors that took points in her category of the series. A very productive domestic track season for Cody Racing!
Cross season is in full swing and our Elite Masters team athletes are proving again that they are hard to beat with Karl Kiester leading the charge with four wins in his first five races. Brook Watts has also shown he is in good form with one win, two seconds and a third to start his season.
